Places for People Projects
§ Hanson Street (Main Street), Freeling
Capital Works: Grant Funding has been provided through Places for People for the council to undertake capital works to Hanson Street for streetscape improvements. This includes the planting of street trees, feature paving to footpaths, traffic calming measures to improve pedestrian safety, the under grounding of power lines, new street furniture and street lighting, car park improvements and carriageway improvements. The project aims to enhance the visual appearance of Freeling, increase visitor visits to the town and stimulate growth for residents and business investors.
